My role is the Business Performance Manager for the global commercial unit of Formulated System business of Huntsman Advanced Materials. My main responsibility, to put it in simple words, is to provide support on all finance-related matters for the Formulated System business. I joined the company 20 years ago when the business was part of another Swiss chemical / pharmaceutical company. The business was subsequently acquired by Huntsman a few years ago. Before working in this capacity, I have had various role in different functions including Supply Chain, Product Management, IT, and of course, Finance. This had allowed me to gain exposure to nearly all aspects of running a business. Although I am based in Hong Kong, the business portfolio of Huntsman is so diverse and global that there are lots of opportunities to work together with high-caliber people from different cultural background and of different disciplines. The business is so dynamic that there are exciting challenges everyday.
We are 2008 management trainees for Asia Textile Effects division. We are from China Mainland and HK. We have gained training in business operations and help carry out its strategy growth.
